Portrait of Atty. Kaye Lucille Marie A. Hugo

I’m a Philippine lawyer and the lawyer behind KLMAH Law Office. I was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2026.

I am accredited by the Department of Justice’s Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution as an ADR practitioner in negotiation, and I hold the Certified Estate Planner, Phils. (CEPP), Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO), and Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) designations. See credentials below.

My practice is built on the belief that good legal advice should be clear, honest, and practical. I take time to understand your situation first, then explain your options in plain language so you can make decisions with confidence.

Outside client work, I mentor law students and bar examinees through Atty. Hugo Mentorship, helping them practice answering bar questions and plan their studies.

How I work

Law, explained clearly.

I focus on understanding your situation first, then give you guidance that is grounded in the law and aligned with your real-world goals.

No unnecessary jargon. No intimidation. Just straightforward counsel, in plain language.

  1. 01

    Clear

You’ll know where you stand, what your options are, and what each one involves.

  2. 02

    Honest

You’ll hear the risks along with the possibilities, so you can decide with the full picture.

  3. 03

    Practical

Advice is shaped around what you need to achieve, not just what the law allows.

What to expect

From first message to engagement.

  1. Reach out

Send a short inquiry or book a consultation. A brief summary is enough at this stage.

  2. Conflict check

Before we discuss details, I confirm that I have no conflict of interest in your matter.

  3. Consultation

We go over the facts, the law that applies, and your options, including likely costs and timelines.

  4. Engagement

If you decide to proceed, we agree in writing on the scope of work and fees before work begins.
